The wunda chair level 1 class is for those who are new to the chair apparatus or those wanting to evolve their practice on the chair. The chair is an extremely challenging small apparatus that was originally invented to be an all around gym (rolled up into a chair). It focuses on stability of your core and over all body. It improves your bodies flexibility, increases your range of motion, builds strength in your arms and chest, and decreases tension in your spine and joints.

The Tower is an apparatus that has arm and leg springs attached to a metal frame and uses a raised, upholstered mat (with handle bars and straps) but unlike the Reformer - does not move on wheels. The Tower class focuses on increasing strength, flexibility, and balance. This class is open to ALL LEVELS but caters to the beginner to intermediate student. AM RADIO adheres to the high standards and integrity of maintaining classical sequencing and teaching students how to move properly on the apparatus with the 6 Principles of Pilates. Group classes at AM RADIO are not suitable for those past 8 weeks of pregnancy or for those with severe injuries. We do offer and suggest Private sessions if you fall into this category.

This class is intended for the experienced student who is practicing at an intermediate level. *Please see below for parameters for attendance. The level 2 reformer class is for those wishing to dive deeper into your authentic Pilates practice with intermediate to advanced exercises. We challenge deeper connections with movement and control. ***PLEASE NOTE *** This class is not suitable for new students unfamiliar with the Authentic Method of Pilates. It is necessary for the student to be familiar with basic cues/language and the traditional sequence to be effective within a group setting. If you are a beginner, you will be kindly asked to leave this class and re-schedule for a Level 1 Class so that we maintain respect for the other students. You will be expected to know how to complete your transitions independently. This includes: Lowering foot bar / threading your straps / spring changes / short box vs long box. If you are still unsure about taking this class in regards to your experience, please contact the studio.
